Friends, Flip Burger and Yogurt Mountain

We have had such a busy and fun week. Today Meredith, Carson and Crawford came to play. I was giving Meredith some of my girl stuff before baby Lydia makes her appearance in April. Bella loves playing with these little boys!! They are all so sweet!!

My mom called around 4:30 to see if we wanted to go eat with her for her anniversary at Flip Burger.....my dad was out of town so we decided he should treat us all to dinner since he was not here :) Happy Anniversary to my wonderful parents...31 years is a long time!! The burgers were delicious, the kids were great and MA loved looking at the ceiling. We had a great time...BUT missed Emily since she was studying :( It was a really cool place. Taylor thought he was somewhere really fancy! After dinner what did we want??? Something sweet..OF course...so we headed to YOGURT MOUNTAIN...for the first time!

Yogurt Mountain was so much fun!! I wouldn't have dreamed they could have had so many toppings...ceral, fruit, candy bars..everything you could imagine. Bella and Taylor thought it was really fun!!! I can't wait to go back!!

Demi Sophia Arrives!

Today I got to meet precious Demi Sophia Alsobrook. Demi arrived yesterday at 12:22 PM weighing 8lbs 11oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long. She is so cute!!! I loved holding her today! Lindz looks great! When I went in to the hospital..I was thinking that this would make me want another baby..which is physically impossible..BUT it really didn't! I loved to give her kisses and snuggle with her, but i realize that this phase of my life is over!! It is exciting I have four more friends due within the next two months..so there will be plenty of newborns for me to hold! Congrats Alsobrook family...especially BIG SISTER DALEY!!!

Later this afternoon Krista, Madelyn and baby Michael came over to play. They played great! MA and baby Michael were having dinner together in this picture..on the menu...cheesy broccoli rice and mandarin oranges..hehe! They are going to be such sweet friends!!

Girl Time!!

Bella is such a little girl!! She loves having friends over to play..so Monday we had our sweet friends..Kaitlin, Maggie and Miller over to play. Bella and I decided it would be fun if we set up a party. We put out decorations, finger nail polish, my little ponies....etc. Maggie and Bella had such a great time! They played dress up, painted nails, had lunch, made cupcakes..and were so sweet to each other!! MA loved Miller! Poor Miller...MA just kept wanting to touch him...not a gentle touch...more of a slap! I think Miller was used to it having a older brother and sister because it didn't seem to really bother him! We had so much fun!!

Come on Spring!!

The weather was perfect this weekend!! It made me so excited about spring and summer!! I am so tired of tights, jackets and getting everyone bundled up to leave the house. This weekend we played outside ALOT! It was so nice. I loved feeling the sun on my face....this pale body of mine is needing a tan!! MA got to experience the fun of crawling around in the grass. She was so cute, and didn't seem to mind being dirty!! We had a great Sunday picnic outside! It is amazing what warm weather does for me....it makes me soooooooo HAPPY!

Taylor learned how to tie his shoes this weekend!! I am so proud of my little dude!! He has been practicing for quite some time now! YAY for me not having to tie Taylor's shoe laces anymore..oh, and his foot is almost as big as mine!!

MA one year check up

This year has gone by so fast!! I can't believe MA is ONE!! She is developing such a personality. She can now ride facing forward in a big girl car seat, and is loving it!! She loves playing with Taylor and Bella!! We took MA for her one year check up this week . She weighed in at 21 pounds...50th percentile and 30 inches...75th percentile. She is so much bigger than Bella was at this age.

Things MA can do at 12 MONTHS:

Say...Clap,Clap,Clap and clap her hands
Say..Mama,Dada,Heyyyyy, Bye
Waves her hands
Eats anything you will put in front of her
Stands alone..can take two or three steps
She has 4 teeth on the top with two more coming in..only 2 teeth on the bottom
She can shake her head NO
Loves to play
Loves her mommy right now!! She is not being cooperative in the nursery! Imagine that :)
Gives kisses...can love people and baby dolls
When she gets really upset she cries so hard..holds her breath and gags..Can we say BELLA JR!!

I can't wait to see what the next year holds for my baby girl!! Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Gatlinburg Trip

This weekend we headed to Gatlinburg to celebrate Danna's 30th Birthday!! It was a really long drive in the snow and ice, but that is what you do for your friends!!

After 7 hours of driving through a blizzard we finally made it to Gatlinburg!!! This was my first time in Gatlinburg, and I could not believe how bad the traffic is! Here is a picture of the road leading up to the cabin. The Tahoe could not make it up the hill, so we had to hike!! It was really cold!

The view from the cabin was gorgeous!!!

Kelli's car got stuck in the snow :)

We spent the day walking around downtown. It was a really neat little place. We had lunch at the Smokey Mountain Brewery. It was so cold!

When we got home we spent some time playing pool and having air hockey tournaments...complete with brackets!

We had a delicious birthday dinner and yummy cake!! Happy 30th Danna!!!

We finished the evening watching a movie in the movie theater!! It was so cool!

A few last pictures before it was time to go.

Then we drove home through all of the traffic! We had a great time. I am so blessed to have such amazing friends! A BIG THANKS to Gary, Susan, Jillian, Kacie, Emily, Mom and Dad for making it possible for us to get away!! Thanks for watching the kids!!! Ya'll are awesome!

Let it snow!

I really can't believe we actually got snow on Friday!! It was not the best time for snow because Tanner and I were leaving to go to Gatlinburg with some friends for the weekend. Luckily, we had Emily and Jillian to come over and play with the kids in the snow so we could get out of town. Here are a few pictures of the kids in the snow right before Tanner and I left. The good thing was the kids didn't care about us leaving because they were having so much fun playing in the snow!! I hate we missed the snow in Birmingham!!!
