A day with my little Diva

Today we had a lunch date with daddy! We headed downtown to spend a little time with Tanner on his lunch break. The girls were really good, and loved seeing daddy at work. Tanner even took us to the candy store on the way out for a special treat. Bella is a daddy's girl!! She did not want to leave and cried for a while when we left. Thanks daddy for making time for us during your busy day!

After lunch we decided to take a quick trip to Target to get Bella a new swimsuit. This was a interesting trip, but most are with a toddler! Bella picked out a aerial swim suit size 5T that she really wanted..she wears a 2T! I said okay, lets go try it on and you will see that it does not fit. Well, she thought it looked great and was insisting on wearing it home. I talked her in to getting a pink one instead that was her size. I am that mom that let her wear it out of the dressing room to go pay for it and out of the store in the 50 degree weather. OH WELL! You pick and choose your battles at this age. She also managed to snag a new pair of sunglasses on the way out too!

The girls spent the afternoon playing in the new swimsuits. They had so much fun, and looked super cute!!

We wrapped up the day with having a yummy and messy spaghetti dinner! A favorite meal for the Bush kids! Tanner had to work late so it was just the kids and I at dinner tonight. MA had spaghetti all over her!! She was orange! I am surprised she came clean.

The only thing left to do for the day was to give theses girls a sink bath! They were so dirty and orange from the spaghetti I figured we would go straight to the sink to prevent the orange hands all over the wall!!

100th day of school!

Congratulations to Taylor for completing his 100th day of kindergarten!! Today Taylor had his 100th day of school. I can't believe he is half way through his kindergarten year! Where has all of the time gone?? Can someone please put my life on pause?! It is going by so fast!! Taylor is doing great in school. He is reading beginner books, and is great at math...he got that from Tanner :) They had a huge party today to celebrate! I love that the teachers make such a big deal out of these things! I have been very happy with Oak Mountain Elementary this year!! I can't believe that next week I will have a six year old, two year old and one year old. When times get tough and hectic I am trying to cherish all of the special memories I am making with my amazing kids! I am so blessed!!

Warm weather makes me happy!

I just have to say that the warm temperatures make me so happy!! It seems like it is so much easier to stay motivated when you can walk outside and not be freezing cold! The kids have really enjoyed being able to get out some of the outside toys. Taylor is getting better at riding his bike, and the girls love rinding the pink cars. We have also enjoyed playing at the park. I love that both of the girls can swing together now. Bella likes to go really high! She screams and laughs really loud. It is precious! MA giggles listening to Bella, but likes to only be pushed a little bit! Come on Spring!! I am ready!

MLK Holiday

MLK day was so much fun! We were so happy to have daddy home with us! It is not very often that Daddy is off work. It was such a beautiful day that we headed to the park to have a picnic. The kids..including Tanner..all played so well together! The monkey bars were a big hit! Tanner, Taylor and Bella completed the monkey bars many times. I took a shot at them, but I don't think they are made for older people. They were really hard! We played a few games of hide and seek. We had the best time just being goofy! MA loved the slide. Later that night Kyler and Felicia stopped over for a visit. We ate delicious Pablos take out. It was great getting to catch up with them. Today was a great day in the Bush house!

MA is getting so big!

MA is getting to be such a big girl!! She has learned to climb up the stairs with the help of Big Sister!! Bella stands at the top of the stairs and calls her to come up. We now have a gate at the bottom of the stairs!!

MA can now sport a mini pony tail!! She looks so cute!!

This little girl will soon be walking! She is now able to cruise around the furniture and stand up all alone!!

This week we also said bye-bye to formula!! YAY!! She loves to drink whole milk in her bottle! Hopefully now we will have a little more money not having to pay $25 for formula anymore!!
Love to all!!

Praise and Worship in the Bush house!!

It has become a tradition in the house that we must watch the 9:30 service of praise and worship from the living room. The kids love the music, and are sad that they don't get to go in big people church. I love seeing my sweet kids praising God!! Here are some pics!!

Taylor and Bella both have their eyes closed :)

Trying to teach MA!! She almost has it :)

Taylor climbed on the coffee table and did this....so sweet and innocent! I love it!!

Daddy is not a hand raiser, but the kids want him to be!!

Brrr..It is COLD!!

Well, since it has been so cold outside we have been staying warm inside and trying to stay busy!! We have had a few days where we all have stayed in PJ's all day :) It was so much fun having what was supposed to be a snow day. Taylor enjoyed being out of school even though we only saw a few snow flurries!! Here are a few pics from the past week!!

Happy New Years!

It was a very quiet, and laid back new years eve. Well, I take that back..it was very Loud with all of my neighbors doing fireworks!! Bella and Taylor were up until 11:00 from all of the noise!! Tanner and I just spent some time together around the house to ring in the new year. Here is a email I recieved from my sister-in-law, Lauren. It was so good that I wanted to share!!

Good Practices for 2010!!
Health

1.Drink plenty of water
2.Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a
beggar.
3.Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that
is manufactured in plants.
4.Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy
5.Make time to pray.
6.Play more games
7.Read more books than you did in 2009 .
8.Sit in silence for at least 10
minutes each day
9.Sleep for 7 hours.
10.Take a 10-30 minute walk daily. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:

11.Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their
journey is all about.
12.Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control.
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13.Don't over do. Keep your limits.
14.Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15.Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16.Dream more while you are awake
17.Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18.Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with His/her
mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19.Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
20.Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21.No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
22.Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems
are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away =like
algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
23.Smile and laugh more.
24.You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree...

Society:

25.Call your family often.
26.Each day give something good to others.
27.Forgive everyone for everything.
28.Spend time w/ people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
29.Try to make at least three people smile each day. What other
people think of you is none of your business.
31.Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends
will. Stay in touch.

Life

32.Do the right thing!
33.Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
34.GOD heals everything.
35.However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
36.No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
37.The best is yet to come.
38.When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
39.Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

Happy New Years!!! Love to all!!

My baby girl has been sick

On Monday of this week MA started running a fever :( She had no other symptoms, so I thought it was probably just a virus. On Tuesday she still had 103.5 fever. On Wednesday she still had 103.5 fever, so I decided it was time to take a trip to the doctor. Luckily, Lauren called and offered to keep Bella and Taylor so I could take MA to the doctor. I hate going to the doctor, especially if it involves taking all three kiddos with me. They tested her for everything and assured me it was just a virus!! I was hoping it would be something just so they could give her some medicine so she would feel better. On Thursday she was feeling much better!! Poor MA!! It is so sad when your babies are sick!!
