Asbury Easter Egg Hunt

On SAturday we went to the Asbury Easter egg hunt with some friends. We had a great time. Before all of the festivities they told the easter story to all of the kids. They had pony rides, train rides and games. The kids had a blast!! Bella loved the pony ride...her pony pooped when she was riding it :) She thought it was hilarious. After the egg hunt we headed to Pablos with the Riosa family and the Moore family. Pablos was yummy! All of the kids had a dance party outside in Lee Branch...it was funny!! A fun free Saturday!! Got to love days like that!!

Potty Training Bella

This week I started potty training Bella. Today is day 6 and we have only had 2 accidents. She will even go poopoo in the potty. She is very proud of her big girl panties!! I thought that she would be really difficult because she always loved her diapers :) Today she gets a prize for keeping her panties dry. She is getting a new dress up outfit which is the ultimate prize for her. Dress ups are her favorite!! I am so happy to only have one in diapers now!! Go Bella! We are so proud of you!!

I can walk!

At 13 1/2 months MA has started walking!! I love her chubby little legs wearing keds. They are so cute!! I think life might start to be a little more challenging chasing around a 1 and 2 year old. Bella says MA is not a baby anymore because she can walk. I am sure she will be running in the next few weeks. Good Job MA!! Now you can keep up with your brother and sister!

Spring Break 2010..Woohoo!

Monday I thought it would be fun to take the kids to Desoto Caverns. I was a little bit worried about taking them alone, but it turned out great! Desoto Caverns is not quite the same as I remembered it. I have not been since I was a kid. Everything was so much smaller than I imagined. The kids loved panning for gold, digging for crystals,climbing the rock wall and all of the other activities. I am happy we went!

Tuesday we went to eat lunch with daddy, check out Vulcan and hit up Yogurt Mountain! It was really cold on top of Vulcan..but Taylor seemed to really enjoy it! We were happy to have Emmy with us for the day!!

Wednesday we were a little bit more low key. We spent the morning in our PJ's, and then decided to go do a few errands so we could celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The house was a mess, and so were the kids...we had a blast! We made a cake, did arts and crafts..MA was introduced to her first ring pop. That way she would sit in her highchair for a long time while I could help Taylor and Bella. For dinner we had green eggs, bacon, biscuits with green butter and cake!

Thursday we went to meet Rere and Mimi for lunch at chick-fil-a to send Taylor off to the hunting camp with my parents. He was very excited to go...I think he was ready to get away from the girls for a little bit.

Friday the girls and i had a playgroup with some friends. It was such a beautiful day!! The girls got to wear a spring outfit. Yipee! We played outside all day. Later the girls stayed in the stroller for ONE HOUR!! That was an amazing treat for me to get to walk with them for that long! Hope they keep it up! We had a great week!

Marjorie Ann's 1st Birthday

Finally, we got to have MA's first birthday party!! We had to reschedule 3 times. Two of the times because Bella and MA had the stomach virus..and the 3rd because of Felicia's dad being sick. I have to say, that it was well worth the wait!! We had so much fun!!!

MA had a great time at the party. Taylor and Bella had fun opening her presents for her. I guess that is what happens with the third child :) MA loved her new kitchen set, and so did Bella! I made her favorite spaghetti dinner for everyone to enjoy. She was so cute getting in to her cake. She put her feet in the cake..and enjoyed eating the icing off of her toes:) Baby Michael enjoyed a cupcake for the first time at the party. They were so messy we had to hose them off, and we couldn't resist getting a picture of those cute little booties :) Thanks to everyone who came to make MA's party so special!! Bush Family Garage Sale

We had a garage sale on Saturday. It was so much work, but well worth getting some junk out of our house!! Tanner and I woke up at 4:30AM to start setting up. We sold so much stuff!! And gave away a lot too!! A big THANKS to Felicia for arriving before 7AM to help!! Also, a big thanks to Susan for helping!! It was sad to let go of some of the stuff. We made $530! YAY!! The stuff we had left was donated to Treasures Thrift Store...they sell this stuff to the public and 100% of profits go to support christian missions and missionaries.

Dr.Suess & 20/20 Vision

I just thought this was really funny that Taylor got to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday at school. He came home with a Dr. Seuss hat, bow tie and wiskers on his face. Taylor said they had the best time at school. I had no clue that Dr. Seuss's birthday was March 2nd!!

Taylor has his first eye exam yesterday. He did so good! I was a little worried about them putting all of those drops in his eyes and dilating them, but he handled it like a champ! He was so funny..he kept telling everyone that he got is eyes violated instead of dilated. He said that everything was really fuzzy and light hurt his eyes so I let him eat his dinner in his room with the light off...i think he was being a little dramatic! We were happy to learn that Taylor's eyes were great!! I hope he doesn't start having vision problems like me!!
