Drum Roll Please.........

She did it!! She finally did it!! After seven and a half months she can finally sit up!! I am so proud of MA for finally sitting up on her own. She is getting to be such a big girl! Poor thing has not had much practice because I just can't leave her alone on the floor in fear she might get trampled by her crazy siblings. YAY for MA! AWWWW... what a cute rhyme!

MA tried carrots tonight. She really did not like them at all. They made her gag. So far, she does not like green beans or carrots. Hopefully, they will grow on her!!

After Taylor got home from school, I got him a snack and he took off downstairs. Then after about 10 minutes he ran upstairs and asked me if he looked any different. Honestly, I didn't really think so! He pulled a roll of toilet paper out of his pocket. He unrolled the toilet paper, and there it was...ANOTHER TOOTH!! This makes FIVE!!! He was so excited that he lost his tooth at school. I guess in kindergarten that is really cool!! WOW!! These things sure do come out fast! Tanner is out of town tonight for work. Taylor cried, and really misses his daddy! I am thankful Tanner does not travel much!! Emily came over to spend the night with me. We have been watching girly shows and making brownies. YUMMY! The timer is going off now! BYE!! Oh, Tanner have a safe trip home! We miss you!

Oh Bella!

What can I say, other than two year olds can be so funny!! Bella has been making me laugh so hard for the past few day. Here are a few of the funny things that she has been doing this week.

Tanner walked in with flowers for me yesterday, and before I could get a word out...Bella was saying..Thanks, Baba, Thanks! For those of you who don't know, Bella never called Tanner dada she has always called him baba. Who knows why! I guess I will be sharing my special surprises with my girls from now on!

Today we were at Walmart, and everything we passed she would say AWWWWWWW......i mean if it was a shirt, pumpkin, apple, toy or anything. When we got up to the check out there was this sweet old man checking us out. Bella kept on saying..ME NO LIKE HIM MOMMY!!!! I don't think he had great hearing, and hopefully didn't understand what she was saying. I told her that was not nice, but she just kept on saying..ME NO LIKE HIM MOMMY!! At least 10 times!!

The picture of these dress up shoes have just recently become her obsession. She calls them her flip flops. I know, they are not flip flops but that is what she thinks they are. She loves these shoes. She has even been sleeping with them. She sleeps with the pink pair on her feet and the purple pair in her hands.

It has been bringing me such joy this week to see Bella and MA starting to interact together. I just know that they are going to be best friends!! MA has been laughing at Bella so much. I am just cherishing each moment of watching them grow up together. Anyways, I wonder what she will do funny tomorrow?!?!

Go Away Stomach Bug!!

Well, we made it 7 months without MA getting sick! I think that is pretty good considering she has two siblings who are constantly kissing her, touching her mouth and spreading germs. Last night around 11:00 I heard her hiccuping really loud. I got her up, and thought that she wanted a bottle to make her hiccups go away. I proceeded to feed her a bottle, and as soon as I got finished feeding her she started throwing up. So, then I did all the necessary things....change her clothes, my clothes etc. Then, all of a sudden she was so happy!!! I thought she is not sick, maybe her hiccups got her choked and that is why she threw up. So, I played with her for about an hour. Then around 12:45 I decided to try and feed her again. BIG MISTAKE!!!! She was for sure sick! MA threw up that bottle too!! At 1:00 AM Tanner went to Walmart to pick up some pedialyte. I fed her some out of a dropper like a little bird. She didn't care for that gross stuff! Then, she was so happy again!! We laid in the bed and played with her for at least an hour. She was giggling, smiling and being the cutest thing you have ever seen!!! Around 3AM she fell asleep. She woke up this morning fine. I gave her pedialyte until noon, and then started her back on bottles. She had a long day today!! At 6:15 she was asleep, and I haven't heard a peep out of her. Hopefully, she will feel 100% better tomorrow!! I am praying that we don't all get the virus! Oh, and after months of drooling and eating my face....SHE GOT HER FIRST TOOTH!!! WOW!! She is growing up so fast! I love my little chubby baby girl! I am exhausted after not getting sleep last night!! Goodnight!

Fiesta Time!!

Today we spent the day running around getting ready for Kyler & Felicia's couples shower. We did make a stop at Mimi's house to have lunch, and let her visit with the kids. Mimi was doing great, and even bought the girls a new toy each! They loved them.
I was so happy to be able to host this party for Kyler and Felicia. I want to thank my mom, who helped out so much, and didn't even come to the party because she was keeping the girls. I am looking forward to gaining another sister. I love felicia, and can't wait for her to "officially" be in the family.

The taco bar was really delicious tonight. I thought everything for the party turned out great! They got some really great gifts..a camera, dishes, blender, lamp, glasses......and so much more!! It made me want to get married again to get all new stuff! Thanks to everyone who helped make this party so special!! Congrats Kyker and Felicia!! I am looking forward to November 7th!!!

Green Beans and Visiting Rere at work

Today was day 2 of Bella going to CASA. It was much worst today. I guess because she knew what was about to happen. Her teacher got her out of the car, and she got sick! YUCK!! Her teachers are aware that she makes herself sick when she gets really upset, so they just carried her in school. I was really sad to leave her again today, but hoping it will get better. She had a great day! They said she played really well, and even had music class. She loved music! Hoping next week is easier.

MA and I went strolling around brookwood mall. We had fun spending time together. I forgot how easy it is just to have one baby with me. She was so sweet and smiley today! Then, we went to visit my mom at work. Everyone thought that she was so cute and fat. My mom treated me to lunch at taco casa. It was yummy!

Tanner picked up Taylor after work, and they headed to soccer practice. Tanner is the head coach this year, AGAIN!! He loves doing it, and I am glad he likes being so involved with Taylor. He is such a good daddy!! Bella was sad that she was not getting to go to soccer practice, so I had to take her favorite restaurant.....TACO BELL! HA! The girl loves the little cups of nachos with cheese. I also gave her some turkey, and she made a HAPPY PLATE! This is very unusual for her to eat all of her food. MA ate green beans tonight!! She did not like these as much as she like the rice cereal. Everyone tells me it takes around 10+ times of trying something to know if she really likes it or not. It was really messy! She had green beans all over her face. Hope everyone had a great day today too!!

Today was the first day of fall small groups. I was so excited to go, and listen to Cindy Acton speak. If anyone of you know her...she is AMAZING! She is such a great role model as a wife and mother. Each week we will have different women come speak, and they talk about a topic that young wives and mothers should practice or try not to do! I took the girls with me because they have child care available. Bella and Marjorie Ann looked so cute. They had on the cutest smocked purple dresses. I dropped Bella off first, and she screamed! Then I took MA and she was letting the workers know she was in the room too! I am sure they were like....could you please get these screaming girls in the purple dresses out of here!! HA!! Just kidding, they were great with them. I did have to end up leaving because MA was acting like Bella Jr. She would not calm down. Hopefully next week will be better for the girls! Later, Kacie stopped by to hang out. She was so sweet to bring Bella and MA cute little matching shirts! Bella loved the shirt so much that she slept in it. Thanks Kacie for being such a great aunt. I am so blessed to have two amazing sisters that love my kids so much! They are always the ones to stop by and come help me. They are getting really good at playing blocks :) Thanks girls! Ya'll are the best!! We ended the day yesterday with a trip to Bruster's! All together a great day!

Bella starts CASA!!

I can't believe Bella made it through her first day of school! We have been talking about it for a long time, but today was the day. She has been so excited about starting school thinking that mommy was coming with her :) Poor baby!! Today she realized that mommy does not get to go to school with her. I woke her up at 8:30 this morning, which is early for Bella! She usually sleeps until at least 9:30. I guess she comes by that naturally :) I packed her lunch in her new princess lunch box. Bella picked out her own lunch box! I packed her a PB&J, cheese and pretzels. The girl eats like a bird. You can see from the picture above that Bella was standing at the door all morning waiting for the time to leave. Car pool took forever this morning!! As soon as we were waiting in line, her eyes filled up with huge tears and I held her hand through carpool telling her that she was going to love school. At this point I thought about driving off, and trying it again next year. They came to the car to get her out. She was crying, kicking and screaming. It broke my heart!! I cried too for my sweet Bella bug! Finally, at 1:30 it was time to go get her!! I was super excited to see what she had to tell me. Mrs. Dawn brought her to the car, and as soon as she opened the door Bella started crying so hard. Her crying woke MA up, and she started crying too!! Oh boy, the teacher told me that she had a great day and only cried for the first 10 minutes. YAY!! I'll take it! They said ever since lunch she has been really tired. She stopped crying and went straight for her lunch box, and ate the rest of her PB&J on the way home. As soon as we got home she took a long nap. After nap she told me about her day.

Here are some of the questions I asked her:
Did you have fun? yes
Did you love school? yes
Did you eat your lunch? yes
Did you cry? yes
Did you play with friends? yes
Were your teachers nice? yes
What are your teachers names? Mrs. oria and Mrs. awn (Gloria & Dawn)

Thank goodness they send home a information sheet or I wouldn't have a clue :)
This is what Bella's fun frog facts said:
Her mood was content
She ate some of her lunch
She played with cars, dolls, puzzles and blocks
She is a sweet girl:)
She only cried for 5-10 minutes

I am so proud of Bella for going to school all day!! Congrats Bella Bush on completing your first day at CASA!

Dustin's 30th Birthday Party!

I am really feeling old doing this post! I can't believe that my friends are starting to turn 30! It seems like just yesterday I was putting on my SVHS cheerleading uniform. HA! Luckily I still have two more years before the big 30! We headed down to Auburn on Saturday for Dustin's 30th birthday party. Gary and Susan stayed with the kids! Thanks so much for babysitting all three of them!! Melanie had so much great food prepared, and was a great hostess! We watched the game at Melanie and Dustin's house. I was talking more than watching the game. We had a great time having some much needed adult time, and catching up with some of my favorite girls, Melanie and Danna! I loved being in Auburn!! It is one of the greatest places!! Congrats Dustin on this milestone birthday!!

Meeting Bella's teahers!

Today was a very busy day! It was the first day that Taylor had to get on the bus in the rain. You can see how great it is that the bus stops right in front of our house. I can just open the door, and see him get on the bus. Taylor loves kindergarten!

We also went to CASA to meet Bella's teachers! Ms. Gloria and Ms. Dawn will have Bella in the young 2's class this year. Bella didn't want to have anything to do with her teachers, but loved all of the toys in the classroom. She will have 10 little 2 year olds in her class. I am praying that Bella loves school! Luckily, I knew Ms. Gloria from church of the highlands. I have worked with her in the nursery, and she is AWESOME!! Bella was excited to get her very own book bag!

After meeting Bella's teachers we went to have lunch with Krista, baby Michael and Madeline at Wing's. All of the kids were well behaved, and we had some yummy cheeseburgers for lunch! Then we walked down to Hobby Lobby to buy some fabric for the girls to have fall/winter pants! My talented friend Laura is making these for us! Thanks LAURA!! You are the best!! It was a great day!!

Stroller Rides and Pink Band-aids

Today was a very nice relaxing day!! It was so nice not to really have any plans today. I decided to take the girls on a stroller ride at Spain Park to get some exercise on this beautiful day. This can either go really well or be a total disaster. This is the first time I have taken both girls in the double jogging stroller because it has been so hot! I had to tell Bella we were going to look at the duckies and she was ready to go! Marjorie Ann cried for the first 15 minutes then fell right to sleep. Bella was so good too! I actually walked with them for a hour!! I was so excited! After the walk Bella played at the park. Her favorite thing today was the swing!

For the most part Bella is getting better with her temper tantrums, but today she did get very upset. She got a boo-boo at the park, so I told her that when we got home we would get a band-aid. I went to get her a band-aid and realized I only had normal ones or cars. I asked her which one she wanted, and she only wanted a pink band-aid. So, she cried for about 20 minutes because I didn't have her favorite pink barbie band-aids. This will be the last time I run out of those :) I had to get a picture of her acting so dramatic!
