Bella's Christmas Party @ CASA

Bella's class had a polar express christmas party this year too! They also wore PJ's to school. Bella picked out her DORA christmas pajamas for her and MA to wear to the party. I am room mom for Bella so it was so much fun getting everything prepared for the party. I have to say that I didn't realize how much work it can be to be a room mom for a two year old class. All of the kids were so sweet! We started the party by making reindeer food..the kids really loved putting the oats, sugar and glitter into the bag and shaking it up. Next, we had pizza and decorated some christmas cookies. Last, the kids all exchanged ornaments. Bella loves her new tinkerbell ornament. Emily was so sweet to come help out at the party! She helped keep baby MA entertained. Thanks EMILY!

Taylor's Kindergarten Christmas Party

Taylor had his polar express christmas party at school on Thursday. All of the kids wore PJ's to school. Of course, Taylor did not want to wear his PJ's at first because he was embarrassed. I can't believe he is already starting to be worried about what he is wearing!! I could not come to the party because they only allow each parent to come to one event per year, and mine was Thanksgiving :( He said that they had a great time, but I really wished that I could have been there too!! I can't believe he is already half way through with Kindergarten. Where is all the time going????

Eric + Lauren + Bella = FUN

Last weekend Eric and Lauren took Bella to visit Whoville. It is a function that they were having in the neighborhood, and Lauren manage to swipe another pass so Bella could enjoy the fun too! Bella came home with a new dress up outfit that she loves!! She put it on inside Target and was flying around the store. Two year olds continue to make me laugh! Bella loved seeing the princesses, and actually got to HUG A PRINCESS which she tells me about everyday. For some reason she is loving princesses and always wanting to hug one. I tell her she can hug me, but she says MOMMY YOU ARE NOT A PRINCESS :) Bella also came home telling me all about the green grinch. She even woke up the next day talking about him. She had so much fun! Thanks for having her!!

Marjorie Ann spends the night with Eric and Lauren

I am finally getting to blog about MA spending the night with Eric and Lauren. Thanks Lauren for posting some pics :) I was a little worried about MA going to spend the night out due to the fact she is teething and can wake you up a few times in the middle of the night. From what I heard MA slept sound for 12 long hours. MA got some prizes too...a new teething ring and some Puffs. They told me MA enjoyed looking out of the window in the bedroom. I am glad she was such a sweet girl! Thanks for keeping my baby girl!

Zoolight Safari

This weekend we decided to take a last minute trip to the zoolight safari. All of the boys were watching a basketball game, so Lauren and I decided to take a quick trip to see all of the pretty lights. It was freezing cold, so we looked at everything as fast as we could. It was not crowded at all which was so nice!! We had the best time running around with the girls. The petting zoo was a hit because we realized that we could bribe the animals to come over to us with hot chocolate. We had a blast!!

We took Bella to get her first haircut at Sweet & Sassy in Patton Creek. I am in love with that place!! They were so sweet and fun! Bella's hair was looking like a rats nest. Her curls were out of control. It was staring to look like she had a really bad perm :) They trimmed the ends and her curls are looking beautiful and vibrant again. They put glitter in her hair and some spray that made her smell like a cupcake. Also, she got some cute glitter stamps on her face. We could not leave without Bella getting a mini-manicure. It was so cute!! She picked to get her nails painted pink. I think I had just as much fun, if not more fun than Bella. Kacie came with us to support Bella getting her haircut, and also bought her some prizes. Thanks Kacie!! After the haircut we all went to Pablos for some delicious Mexican food!!

Tacky Christmas Party in Auburn

This weekend we headed to Auburn for Melanie and Dustin's Tacky Christmas Party. It was a short trip, but so much fun. Tanner and I enjoyed the two hour car ride! It is always nice to have some time to talk in the car with no interruptions from the kiddos. I loved getting dressed up!! Tanner sported his moms sweat shirt very well!! We had some delicious appetizers prepared by Melanie. It is always fun getting to catch up with old friends!! Thanks to Melanie and Dustin for having us!! Thanks to the grandparents for keeping the kids!!

Bella's Christmas Brunch

Bella was so cute at her Christmas Program. She was a "STAR" performer. Her class sang twinkle twinkle little star. Bella was so well behaved on stage. She did not sing much on stage, but stood up on stage holding her star.I was so happy that Lauren was able to come to the program, since daddy could not make it! After the program we enjoyed a yummy Christmas Brunch. Bella loved that they had bacon. We had a great time!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry that I have been behind on my blogging lately. We have been busy with parties, shopping and just everyday life! We had such a great thanksgiving this year! I am feeling extra blessed! It was so special having Marjorie Ann with us this year for her FIRST Thanksgiving.
We celebrated Thanksgiving on wednesday night at Susan and Gary's house. We missed having Gary, but he was taking his trip to visit his parents in Missouri. Susan prepared a delicious meal, and the kids enjoyed helping her decorate the tree. On Thurdsay for lunch we headed over to visit Felicia and Kyler. Felicia prepared a delicious Thanksgiving meal all by herself! It was great spending time with her dad and brothers. Thanks for having us over! Oh, and Congrats to having your first Thanksgiving as a married couple!! Later that evening we headed over to my Aunt Pat's house for Thanksgiving #3. She had everything set up so well!! The table was beautiful, food was delicious and I enjoyed spending time with everyone. Thanksgiving night the kids spent the night with my mom so I could go shopping on Black Friday! Yes, i am one of those crazy people that likes to do shopping on Black Friday. My sisters and Felicia came with me shopping. We shopped for midnight to 8AM! Ha, it was really fun but exhausting. I finished all my "Santa" shopping for the kids, and got some really good deals. Hope everyone has a great week!!
